I eat lunch at noon and go to the gym at 4:30. I try to get a snack in there at like 3:30. I've noticed when i dont snack that I'm really tired doing cardio and have a hard time finishing my 45min-1hr but if i snack then i have much more energy and can do better cardio. I've heard you should not eat before working out for 2 hrs ..is this right? I've also heard you should eat carbs 5 min before doing cardio ...are these complex carbs or simple carbs... which is right and if i can eat before then what would be good like a protein bar or like some triscuits ... confused?
