Easy Curves

I was watching TV last night and I saw this new exercise object called 'Easy Curves,' which is supposed to increase/firm up your bustline.

I guess what I really want to know is.. does it work? Has anyone tried it?

No, it doesn't work. Building the muscle underneath the breasts can make them appear bigger, but that advice is not the way to do it.

You can do a lot better with a set of dumbells and some pushups! Better yet joint a gym and do a full body workout 3 times a week, concentrating on compound movements. There are a lot of stickies on this site about how to get started.

I would have to disagree. Doing resistance training that causes growth in the pectoral muscles will make your bust bigger. The muscles are part of the breast. Bigger muscles=bigger breast. No it will not make the "boob" part that sits on top of the muscle grow, but it will increase the total circumference around the bustline resulting in a larger cup size.

Now we haven't even mentioned the positive effects on shape. Doing resistance training does help reduce sagging. Over time, the tissues that help hold the breasts up break down from lack of use. A lot of this happens when the boobs spend a lot of time in a device that restricts their natural up and down movement, like a bra. With regular exercise, one can counteract the sagging.

Now, the device being advertised looks like a rip off for what it is. I'm not doubting it's effectiveness in toning the chest muscles, I just think one can do better with a set of dumbbells. Dumbbells are cheaper, and they're versatile. This device can only be used for one exercise.

I never said anything against resistance training being good for cup size. I simply said that that little gimick they've got there sucks for building muscle.

I clearly said resistance training can help make the cup bigger, make them appear bigger, (whatever way of phrasing it that spanks your monkey really) but I said that their (the sites) advice simply isn't the way to go about it.
