Dumbell training, how much?

I decided to get in to shape and started regularly exercising with dumbbells, doing exercises od the web:

While these exercises do address all the major muscle groups I don't know how much of each exercise should i do! I'm afraid that in the end i would have a few really developed muscles and other ones that would be barely visible and that it would just look strange. And the other question is, what to do if your left hand, or generally your left side of the body is weaker, how to compensate, so the would look the same.
 
Pick two exercises form every group and do 3 sets of 10. You could do this as a fullbody workout 3 days a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Every workout you can change the exercises in every group but stay with 2 from every group. Traps you could do both, one or none. Legs, do both.


Always work your weak side first. If you can only get 8 dumbbell curls with your left bicep, when working the right bicep (dominant side) stop at 8, not more, even though you feel you could do more.

I work out every day for 60-90min, is that to much?

Yes, if you are building muscle. You need to train heavy, eat well, and rest. 3 days a week if fine if you have heavy enough DBs to create a heavy load. The rest days are when your body recovers and builds itself up; don’t tear it down as it tries to recover from yesterday’s workout. You could do some cardio on the day after but I wouldn’t go crazy with it. Most suggest you do the cardio after your weights and take a full rest day the next day. It works.

What you have should take 60 min. add 30 min cardio after for 90 in all.....then rest and feel great

Great advice, just one more question, what if I want to lose some weigth to, should I do a low intensety cardio work out every day?
 
You can as long as you keep it low, like active rest, hiking, a sport or something. Just the heavier weights with intensity will do you good.

The best way to lose weight is to control your food perfectly. A problem I have.

Yeah it's hard to control your food perfectly or better yet impossible, because of the fast pace of life...

So basically I shouldn’t eat too much (so that I would lose weight) and yet, I would still have to eat enough, for my muscles to get enough energy while they work, and repair afterwards... So my idea is... to do low intensity cardio exercise every day (which is suppose to burn fat and not burn up the crabs you ingest) and do weight lifting every second day (for building muscle mass)

I agree, one effective workout routine for one person might not work as well for the next. I am actually also in the process of finding what works for me best. I get bored pretty quick and lose interest in my workouts especially when it gets too repetitive.

You're trying to do two opposite things at once. It is VERY, VERY difficult to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time, newbs aside, due to the simple fact that you need to be in a caloric surplus to gain and deficit to lose, mostly. For now, pick a goal. Do you want to lose fat first or gain muscle first? Don't try to do both.

Do not forget that the activity variations matter little in whether or not you will be gaining or losing. That's all about how much you eat.
