Drop another 30 Lbs?

Well i used to be 5'11 275 back in January. Im curently at about 230. I used the low carb diet and dropped about 40 lbs. i used whey protein and worked out. I currently want to get to 200. I work out about an hour a day with freeweights and machines (bench press, incline, decline, millitary & etc.) I take whey protein in the morning and in the afternoon and I eat a lot of meat. I am also on the low carb diet. My biggest concern is my matabolism. Is it slow or fast or will this workout plan slow it down or whats going on.. I also do pushups, pullups and situps about 3-4 times a week in sets. My goal is 10 pounds a month. Is it possible with what i have listed?
 
What brand/type of whey protein do you take? Be careful
to watch the labels - certain types and brands of protein
can contain quite a bit of fat. Whey protein ISOLATE is
the best IMO - it's the purest protein with very little
fat!
 
i think you might be able to reach your goal. But , if you did'nt already know, you can eat 6-8 small meals a day to increase it. But in order for it to work , you would need to space them out over atleast two hours each.

What about cardio? I didn't see any mentioned.

HIIT cardio is a great way of speeding up you metabolism. You only need about 20-25 mins too to make it worthwhile. Theres a whole forum on HIIT on here, but basically it involves using a peice of cardio equipment and doing a slower pace for a certain time then a fast pace then a slow pace again and so on for the duration.

I personally favour the elliptical cross trainer or static bike and do 40 secs slow 20 secs fast for 20 mins, my god it hurts but you feel great afterwards. As you can see by my siggie, it seems to be working.
