Drinking Nutrional BOOST PROTEIN shake first thing in the morning...

For the past 5 weeks (Mon-Fri), I've been doing the following:

The shake is 240 cal...15g of Protein, 33g of Carbs...
I drink it first thing in the morning (5am), then I do my weights/strength exercises:

Day 1: upper boy & abs
Day 2: lower

^ I always start off with 10 of light cardio, and I finish off by stretching.

Then I eat my breakfast (7:30am) (healthy cereal, banana, orange juice).

I then eat an apple at 10:30am, and a pear from at 12pm

At 1:30pm, I eat my "lunch" (spinach, protein, water, fruit cup)

Around 4pm, Have a snack (carrots, veggies, etc, some taco chips, etc)

6pm : I eat a sensible dinner..little carbs, high protein.

I drink a lot of water throughout the day.

I am 15, 5'4..116lbs. I'm pretty active and am fit. Although I want to tone up my thighs...

I'm trying to do this whole "negative calorie" thing, so I'll lose the excess flabon my arms, stomach and thighs.

Is drinking this PROTEIN shake benefiting me? I think it is, because I've been doing my research and they say when exercising first thing in the morning, to drink a protein shake to "preserve" the muscle.

So how am I doing?

Every six weeks I plan to change my workout so my body doesn't get used to it.

Thanks!

uhh... help please! :|

yeah, drinking the shae is a good thing.

you sound like you are burning way more calories than you are consuming - this is only appropriate if you have a lot of excess fat. you dont want to 'burn yourself out'.

you can work out hard, but if you do you need more calories. Its a balancing act.

Either eat more or do less.

if number of calories consumed is greater than number of calories expended, you will gain weght. If equal you will maintain, if less you will lose weight, but you dont want to go to extremes like eating 1000 cals and burning 3000!

Good luck burning 3000 calories.
Your diet looks fine. To get "toned" you are going to have to lower your total BFP. Create a caloric deficit and boost your activity level slightly.
