Doing Rushfit training program, in week 5 of 8 but not loosing belly fat please help!

Hello,
thanks for reading i hope you can help!
I'm currently doing Georges St-Pierre’s Rushfit 8 week training dvd course from home, I took all my measurements before I started, my main aim was to lose weight on my Tummy so I don’t look pregnant anymore lol.

Related background info: I lost quite a bit of weight before I started this program already. I am 5’7 tall, before I started the this program I weighed exactly 12 stone (168 pounds), I did this between March and May this year, I did it by cutting out biscuits, chocolate and any treats and just eat 3 meals a day but small meals about 60% the size of before, that and using the treadmill for 20 minutes about 2-3 times a week. Using this method I got down to 10.9 stone (149.8 pounds), but I had spent around a month stuck at that weight and felt i had taken it as far as I could. At this point I started RUSHFIT, because I was stuck around that weight and my belly was still there, maybe a little less but still there none the less, although I had lost the weight on my face I wanted to lose. I didn’t measure my waist before but when I started the rushfit program I was a 32 waist, down from roughly a 34.

Now I made the following changes to my diet in preparation for rushfit, I only ate wholegrain cereal, I switched to only wholegrain bread no more white bread, i made sure I had an apple per day, 2 different Innocent Smoothie glasses per day, only drank water inbetween and tried to eat every 2-3 hours with 3 main meals and 2 snacks (usually a bowl of cereal).

I’m now in week 4 of my program and was concerned with the fact i looked pretty much the same so at the half way stage i took all my measurements again,

Measurements at the start or program (inches):
Weight: 149.8 lbs
Chest 36.5
Waist 32 / Measure from belly button 34 / 34.5
Thigh (R) 20
Thigh (L) 21
Bicep (R) 11 (Flexed 12.75)
Bicep (L) 10.5 (Flexed 11.75)

Measurements at 4 weeks of program (inches):
Weight: 149.2 lbs
Chest 37
Waist 32.5 Measure from belly button 34.5
Thigh (R) 21.5
Thigh (L) 20.5
Bicep (R) 11 (Flexed 12.5)
Bicep (L) 10.75 (Flexed 11.5)

So as you can see all virtually the same! However when I tense my stomach muscles I can see more of a 6 pack now, but I still look a bit pregnant naturally and that is my ultimate aim to solve! I want to build muscle after in other areas but my main aim first and foremost is to get a clear defined 6pack no more belly, PLEASE HELP I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, I can only imagine its diet related?

My average eating day goes like this:
1.Breakfast: Bowl of wholegrain cereal (no milk as I hate it) and an innocent smoothie
2.Before lunch an Apple
3.Lunch: Sandwich (wholegrain bread, diet cheese and tomato) and a yogurt or half a melon.
4.Snack: bowl of wholegrain cereal
5.Dinner: Either a roast with peas, fish and low fat oven chips, chicken and low fat oven chips, vegetarian sausages and low fat oven chips, spag bowl, lean steak and chips. & another Innocent Smoothie drink.

On adding up the calories of this lot I would say it’s probably less then 2000 a day, but I would be literally stuffing my face all day in order to achieve that many.

I am fitter now then when I started rushfit, I can last for longer during the exercises and I had noticed definite performance improvements but it’s just not translating into physical improvement in the areas I want, I don’t want to waiste my time I want to achieve my goals and I don’t want to finish rushfit and look almost exactly the same which is the way it’s going right now.

Thanks in advance to anyone who tries to help, I need as much advice as I can get I’m a very fussy eater so this doesn’t help.

Well first off, congrats on what you have achieved so far :)

Like you say diet is the key, and by the looks of it you are cutting to much fat out of your diet. Fat is not your enemy. Looking at your diet, i personally wouldn't recommend eating the low fat oven chips. The key to good diet is cutting out anything processed and eating only natural foods.

Hope this helps
