Does water help alot?

Im am currently working out 5 days a week... I have recently stoped drinking coke and everything that contains sugar and caffeine and have resorted to drinking water with all meals and just drinking alot of glasses of it a day for the creatine... my question is after a long period of time with no other drink then water will i feel better?
 
i'm gonna go out on a limb and say, yes. From personal experience, I feel much better cutting out soda and drinking water. I'm not a nazi about it though. I will have 100% juice with breakfast, a 1/2 glass of 2% milk with certain meals and once in a while a regular sized soda with lunch. But overall, drinking a gallon of water a day makes me feel way better.
