Does time + speed matter?

In the gym i do around 30 mins of cardio over my workout. But is there a difference between burning 200 calories on the bike in 10 minutes then burning 200 calories in 20 minutes at a much slower pace.

I do 3 HITT minutes within the 10 minute bike ride, burning around 250/220 calories, but is there any advantage to this? Or can someone who goes really slow for 30 mins burn just the same amount as me?
