Does anyone kinda enjoy being healthy?

I enjoy eating healthy (ie. more fruits and veggies, whole grain bread etc). anyone else?? I think after a while you get "used" to it. I've stopped eating/craving fast food not because I'm "on a diet", but because I don't even want it. And I don't feel complete if I haven't worked out during the day.

Anyone else feel the same? is this just a phase? I hope not :willy_nilly:

I really do.

It's sad because I feel awesome when I eat healthy, and then when I go off the healthy foods, I don't even really notice how gross I feel until I start eating healthy again.

I feel incomplete without a daily workout of at least a long walk, but I haven't adopted special like for healthy food yet. I can certainly go without spinach and tofu, yuck.

lol

there are also some things that taste better than junk food - like fresh crispy apples instead of potato chips (i've never liked chips so meh) and vanilla soy milk instead of regular cows milk. and eggs - who needs the yolk, the whites are perfect!!

I love love love healthy food! Now that I'm on a very clean diet with food I really like I have very few cravings and for the first time in my life I can actually eat some ''forbidden'' foods in moderation and not pig out like there's no tomorrow.
It's very weird :)
If only I could get hooked on exercise like that.

Yea it's so weird. Now binging on junk just doesn't make sense; it doesn't compute. Don't get me wrong, I still have my days and my meals where I just don't care and eat whatever but for the most part I feel best when i eat healthy

Katika, it's not hard to get hooked on exercise. The key is to find something you enjoy doing - you don't necessarily have to run or do something you hate (assuming you don't like running). For example a workout could just be 20 minutes of yoga, or a 30 minute walk. anything to get your body moving :)

Love lifting weights..do like cardio that much. Even if I'm not crazy about "healthy food" my lifestyle now allows me to eat what I want within reason without feeling guilty about it or waking up the next morning with an I hate my life feeling, and I feel better about myself..so in the end it's definitely the lesser of two evils

Yes. I feel fantastic. I really noticed how much healthier I am when I went on a 7 mile hike with some friends that would have killed me months ago. Instead it felt great. Very empowering.
