Does anyone here like "UFO"?

A band? I thought it was that guy that came up with a film of a "UFO" and was seen as some type of a guru till his ex-wife revealed the truth about the "UFO".
 
Actually UFO have one great album called Phenomenon. It would probably be put in my top 100 of all time! It was passed on to me by my older brother when I was like 9 so it's patially a setimental thing, but it's a really really solid album. I used to listen to it on my turntable and I wore the grooves off the thing. One of the standout tracks is Rock Bottom. I still love the record and have it on mp3. I'd describe it as hard bluesy rock. I've never heard any of the other albums except for a few cuts like Lights Out In London and Too Hot To Handle (both great songs). Michael Schenker, the guitarist, went on to fame in the Scorpions (who I do not like).

Edit: By the way Calcium, why do you ask about UFO?

Well thanks phil! Happy someone has heard of them.

I ask because they are coming here to Chicago and was wondering if they would be worth seeing live. Schenker is no longer with them. I was hoping someone would have an idea on if they are still worth it. I want to get a couple tickets for my bf for x-mas.

phil - Well I was checking out the other vids too. Sounds like the guy still has his voice but the recording quality is poor so it's hard to tell :(

I just don't want to buy a couple tickets to a bad concert that he won't enjoy :-/ Unfortunately no one else is coming that would interest him.
