I wish you had posted this initially... you and Kara have helped me understand the culture of the forum better, and I think I understand how I rubbed you the wrong way. When I tell people what I do, it doesn't mean that I think it's what everyone should do... I'm not overweight, and I'm bodybuilding, which I guess makes me different to a lot of other people in here, thereby making my opinion and routine somewhat irrelevant to anyone else. I considered myself in the same boat as a lot of people here, but I guess I'm not, and it's time I acknowledged that and got over my obsession with a goal weight that doesn't make sense for me.
In the future, I would ask that you treat me with at least a modicum of respect, and rather than singling me out publicly and slandering my efforts and intentions without knowing much about me and my goals, address any issues you have with my posts via private message. I come here because I find the personal journeys of forum members motivational, and the advice helpful. I will take your advice as a veteran weight-loser, and try to relate what I know with the appropriate bibliography and context in future posts.
Many people would never lose weight if they ate pizza or a similar meal out every week. I for one would never maintain weight if I did that despite walking at least 6.5 miles per day plus doing other forms of exercise.
Maybe you should gain more experience and knowledge about the whole subject before you made too many postings advising people. I think that many people would rather have no advice compared with bad advice.
Whilst some people are in the fortunate postition of being able to allow themselves some flexibility without major punishment at the scales - anyone with hormonal dietary issues can never do that. As a person with a hormonal medical condition I am more aware of this than most people. From what I understand - the Cohens plan is hormonally based.
