hi, my names hollie, im 24 years old and this year i'm starting to exercise for the first time in my life (pretty embarressing i know). At the moment i'm starting to work my way in slowly, doing some basic exercises two to three times a week i.e. 'girl' push ups, lunges, squats, and a plank. since i'm completely new to this ive been doing as many as a can til it hurts, then doing one more each time (or for the plank an extra few seconds), and it seems to be working- the first week i could only do one push up, today i did 7! (like i said had never done any physical training before ever so for me that is huge, lol) the only problem im having is after the third or fourth pushup, just above my my right elbow is starting to hurt. not wanting to injure myself badly, but also not wanting to stop since im actually making some progress after years of putting it off, do you have any advice on what i can do to prevent this happening?
