i need to know if anyone knows how to make salmon on it? i looked online but all the recipes are for a regular outdoor grill. i dont have the george foreman cookbook :(

anybody have any quick and easy recipe ideas i can make on this grill?

Just do it like any other grill, I usually just put a little salt and pepper some rosemary and chuck it on the grill salmon is so beatiful you dont really need to season it.

the problem with doing it "like any other grill" is that with the GF grill, you cant turn the heat higher or lower. and the recipes i find dont give actual minutes to cook, they just say cook until crispy or until medium color - stuff like that. i winged it yesterday cuz i ddint really have ingredients i needed so i marinated a tuna steak in heinze 57 sauce overnight and then cooked for 4 min on the GF grill. maybe tonight i'll experiment with the salmon

you should've got the one where you can adjust the temp :) ... anyway, my old one didn't have the temperature control and i went straight from the freezer to the grill and had it done in 12 minutes. Thawed, it was about 4 minutes, as your tuna steak was.

 i didnt know there was one with a heat control! well it was a gift anyway so i guess i cant complain too much. maybe i will replace this one as a gift to myself one of these days.

i get down with putting chicken brest on it skinless and boneless man some garlic salt and paper and ur gunna have a cood ceaser salade topping or a dinner :)

i really like throwing down some Costco chicken ... takes 45 minutes in the oven and only 8-9 minutes on the grill ... the plain style still tastes good and has a good source of protein ... they also have 3 or 4 different seasoned ones, as well.

I put everything on my george foreman... eg. lamb, chicken, salmon.. i just put olive oil, black pepper and some dried herbs. Everything taste good!

I love my GF grill

I don't know about salmon, Iv'e never tried it on my GF grill. I have tried halibit, yum yum. I just put it on the grill with lots of fresh lemon juice and a little salt. The big bag of boneless chicken breasts from costco are awesome. You can take them straight out of the freezer and put them on the grill and you will have dinner in no time. They are yummy too. I really like dipping them in this sweet chilli sauce(mae ploy) Spelling??? It is real good.

I just bought a GF grill yesterday! I haven't used it yet, but am glad you posted a thread. I have the small one and it doesn't have a temp control either. Oh well, perhaps that means I won't burn my meats. haha

Let me know if you get any good recipes. I see a few that came in the manual with it. I'm so excited! It's so cute. haha

:) Hi! I have the small grill also. I make everything on it. I can fit 2 chicken breast on it and it is cooked in about 9 minutes or so. My husband loves to grill asparagus on it with olive oil and fresh garlic, it's great! Someday I hope to get a bigger GF grill. I heard they have one where you can take the grill part off for easier cleaning. The small one though is not really too hard to clean, I just wipe it down with paper towels until it is clean. The grill I have was a gift too!!
