Do I look better 'before' or 'after'?

Well..... this is only my opinion, I think you're getting too thin.
Sorry, I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear, but ... well, you asked. :)

Hey Bastet,

*waves*

Weight and confidence are often a hard thing to balance! And it's not even confidence, but it's that feeling that you love the way you look, and are happy with yourself! It's great when the two collide so that you're at a healthy weight, and you're happy and can skip around, wiggling your bum to Cee Lo Green... (that's how I picture my happiness!).

As Monster said, your question is very opinion based. I think you look great, but I would say that I wouldn't go further! You don't want to be too thin, and then start to ascend the road of being unhealthy!

But girl, you look great! And it's wonderful that you achieved your goal (hooray for hard work), and are maintaining it! You should be very proud!

But just remember, you want to maintain a healthy weight :)

July's legs look healthly and nice. They tell me this is an athletic person who looks after themselves and fun.

The January legs look to me like someone who has been ill. It just gives my minds eye the vision of someone in a big jumper who is cold or has been ill.

Its just my opinion, but its my honest opinion.

I think that you are too under-weight at 103 and 5'6 lbs. Health wise, I think you would be better gaining some weight actually, but I am not a doctor and this is my opinion.

Also, I don't see why a 113 lb 5'6 woman would even TRY to lose weight -- rather than losing weight you should have tried putting some muscle on.

:iagree:This is my opinion too. I'm 5'6 around 150 pounds and I'm going for the toned and muscular look because that is what I think is attractive. Everyone has their opinions though and I'm sure there are lots of people that want to look like you - I'm just not one of them.

Along with what Tik said, I have to say I agree with the other comments. You looked healthier before.

Would you mind letting us know why you decided to lose weight in the first place? I'm curious.

You looked better before, if still a little too skinny. You're now underweight and it really shows. Your last and only post was asking us if you should be loosing any more weight and everyone said no, did you expect the answer to be different the second time around? I agree with Kramer that you look like someone who has been ill.

The consensus seems to be that you are getting too thin and I agree. You shouldn't be focusing on losing weight. You look much healthier before and at 5'6" you can afford to gain a little.

You should gain some muscle so you look athletic and toned. Your current weight makes you look like you're just skin and bones =( dont look like that, be firm!

^^ I have to agree with this. From a guy's perspective, the before pics are way more attractive and were even looking a little too thin to me. You should strive to look healthy, take care of yourself, and try to build muscle. Building muscle takes calories and protein. You should really consult with a physician and a nutritionist before you start encountering health issues related to being underweight.

You know... I really sort of find it hard to believe that such a big difference in physical appearance can be caused by the loss of only 11 pounds. Okay, I realize that it's a 10% but still. Does anyone else think that's a little odd?

 I hope we get an update from her soon.

I have a feeling she won't be back. (maybe because we're not telling her what she wants to hear).
Bastet, if you're reading this, you're welcome here. No one is judging you, we're just telling you how we feel, and doing what think will help.

Lol I'm not gone.
Don't worry, I'm glad I'm getting honest answers. Honestly, I don't think there's that much difference. My thighs are a little bit thinner, but that's all.
I decided to lose weight because my thighs looked too... large, especially because I have such a small frame.

To be honest, you could be a model before and after.

I'm interested in knowing how you slimmed your thighs though.

Not to be mean but I think that you are too thin, you look very fragile and ill.
If you are feeling bad about your look before (??for some reason, coz from what I can see you look very gorgeous and fit before??) you should instead try to NOT lose fat but instead gain muscle like someone up there mentioned.

If you are 5'6 then to be almost under a 100lb is very dangerous...that's bones and skin girl...get yourself together, go to the docs and try to come up to a healthy weight for YOU.
