Do I eat too much ?

Hey everyone ! First time poster but long time reader.

I have started diet number 97897389789 about 3 weeks ago. And it's the first time that I don't crave for sugar, or give up after 2 days because I want to snack so bad. I've always been fat, and have no sense of moderation or control, a portion for 4 would look like a portion for 1 to me. I've not weighed myself so far because I know that if I didn't lose any weight, it is going to be really discouraging, due to the fact that I have no willpower .

But I am wondering if I eat too much. I am gonna list what I ate the past three days ( I now eat like that all the time ) and could you please tell me if it sounds like a lot ? Btw I am 5'8 and 12 stones (168lbs). I'd' like to lose about 2 stones for 25th my birthday in July.

I never eat breakfast or count calories.

Tuesday
Lunch : 4 boiled eggs & a can of sardines
Dinner : 400g of cauliflower and onion

Wednesday :
Lunch : 150g of chicken, 400g of broccoli , 100g of onion
Dinner : 4 boiled eggs ( I looove eggs)

Thursday :
Lunch : 100g of lentils , 500g of greek yoghurt
Dinner : 600g of vegetables mix

All I drink is black coffee, tea or what. Does it seem like a huge amount ?

Hi there,

It’s incredibly hard/impossible to say if that is excessive as it depends on your metabolism. It’s a lot more than I eat but I have an extremely slow metabolism (always have).

I would say your diet doesn’t look well balanced though.

Well you have to start off with what food is "safe"(meaning foods that is okay with ur diet and doesn't make you want to binge) Drink the tea in the morning time and have 2cups of tea when you wake up. have the greek yoghurt in the morning time instead of lunch. What is the cauliflower and onion?is that pasta? Try to eat some thing different for dinner. I think you should eat something different for dinner time and before you go to bed drink another cup of tea :p Don't be so hard on urself most of us fail before we even get control. Just keep with it and if you want to binge,binge on the yogurt(you can get yogurt light )
 
At first glance, it doesn't look like a lot of food, but I agree with TruffleMonster that it doesn't look very balanced... It looks like primarily one food group at a meal?
