I feel like I have been doing good on my weight loss goals but recently, I have had some diziness when getting up. Today, I actually fainted in the bathroom while getting up. Has any else had challenges with diziness and/or fainting with weight loss?
So far, I have lost 82 pounds in 20 weeks (down from 405 pounds to 323 pounds - I am a 6-foot male) so I have been doing good in losing weight. I'm trying not to lose the weight too fast and lose about 1% per week. I have been exercising about 2-3 hours a day.
I read a good article here http://www.livestrong.com/article/297919-weight-loss-and-dizziness/ about diziness and weight loss.
I have been eating lots of fruits and vegetables and getting enough calories I think (about 1500-1800 calories a day) and drinking lots of water (about 80 fluid ounces per day). I also take a daily multi-vitamin. This morning when I fainted, I had gone for a walk for 93 minutes after waking up and then did some work on my computer and had not eaten breakfast or had any water yet. It was probably a combination of things. I had severe dehydration about 20 years ago while a missionary in South America and fainted once in the bathroom so it's probably just that. I had some water and food and feel a lot better now. I have to really make sure I am eating between meals and getting enough water. Even if happens again, I might go so my doctor.
