Diploma fitness instructor/personal trainer recognised worldwide

Dear all,

I'm looking for a fitness course (personal training / instructor ...) that can be completed online and more importantly ... which provides a diploma that's recognised in as many countries as possible.

I plan on travelling South America and I want to be able to work in fitness centers all over there, so I'm searching for some kind off international certificate.

Anyone who knows more about working as a fitness instructor and/or personal trainer etc in Brazil? Any information will be much appreciated .... Thanks!

I think you'll be hard-pressed to find any post-secondary diploma program that you can take entirely by correspondence, especially when a college or university program usually requires hands-on experience during the process. There are certifications for personal training that can be done independent of a post-secondary school, but none that I know of that are internationally recognized. I feel like your best bet would be to look into the certifications that exist in Brazil itself or, depending on the terms of your stay in South America, see if the government will approve of a North American cert.
