Dinner time hunger

I don't think I am the only one with this issue - by the time dinner comes around at night I am completely starving.

During the day I eat well - make sure I have a good breakfast, modest lunch, and a couple of healthy snacks along the way. I think I've got this under control. But when I get home and make dinner I find that I become soooo hungry. Then, when I actually eat dinner I eat so much that I probably undo all the great eating I've done throughout the day.

I am following the rules. Is there anything I can do to curb this hunger at dinner time?

Yup. Drink water before dinner. And have a salad!
Also, eat slow. That really helps a lot too.
If you drink coffee or soda w/ caffeine during the day, you'll get dehydrated, which will make it seem like you're hungrier than you should be.

i`ve found over time my hunger has decreased at dinner time, starting to eat smaller portions, waiting longer to have my dinner, not been eating fruit at night lately. just give it time and stick to it you have to give your body time to adjust.

I am exactly the same by time I finish work i am ravenous.

Daily I have - cornflakes for breakfast along with a glass of fruit juice
Mid morning I have a snack - an apple or some melon and grapes
Lunch is a cup a soup a sandwich and an apple and sometimes a yogurt
mid afternoon is a handful of almonds
Then about 4.30 i have a banana as I plan on going to the gym after work but I always feel sooooo hungry and weak that I never go. I drink between 2-3 litres of water every day just during 9-5 so it's not lack of water that makes me feel hungry. I just don't know what to do or how to kurb this at all. This has been happening to me for the past 2-3weeks i could just scream sometimes

Try eating a little more protein, especially after the gym workout. It makes you feel a bit more 'full'. Low fat yoghurt is about 500cals per 1kg tub (not sure how many oz that is sorry) which is a HUGE amount of food for such little food. So you can have a large meal with few calories. Eggs are another good snack to make you feel more full, as well as bulking out those meals with vegetables,
