Diets don't work, change your lifestyle

It's easy to fall into the hype of losing body fat at a rate of 5-10 lbs per week (sounds great!!). Reality is you can do this overnight by dehydrating yourself and drop 4lbs in hours...the thing is this won't alter the way your body looks one bit. The only way to actually lose weight for good is to decide you actually want to change and then take small steps in creating new permanent healthy habits. You need to measure body fat and circumference (weight is irrelevant) in order to show successful results in slimming and leaning out your body..

Few quick tips: Cleanse your body to hit the "restart" button on your metabolism and clean out all that crap you've been pumping down

from years of fast food and processed chemicals.

Find a nutritional method that works with your current lifestyle (80% of your results are from cleaning up nutritional

problems).

Drink 1 gallon of water/day....water is the best form of a cleansing agent (yes pee away body fat)

Develop progressive exercise routine so your body never adapts to the same routine...we all plateau after a month

Find ways to hold yourself accountable on a weekly basis (friends...family..etc) do challenges to make it fun!!

If anyone needs a lifestyle transformation without the ridiculous diet trends that never work please ask questions. Was hoping this would spark questions and allow a real professional to answer questions on this forum.

Trans4mer,EVERYTHING you have said is so true. After years of "successful dieting"and then followed by bad eating patterns I have realised exactly what you've posted above. It is amazing when (and it doesn't matter which nutritional plan you use as long as it fits in with YOU)eating a clean diet and drinking the water after a few weeks the body calms down and doesn't crave those things which create that horrible cycle. The other thing I find is that you no longer mind that it might take a while to get to goal weight,it's just sooo good to eat in a normal fashion....no more bingeing!!!!All I ever wanted was to eat the way healthy slim people do and the tips you wrote about are the tools to achieve this.

I'm thinking most people know this and have nothing to add, hence no replies.it would be good to hear some more opinions though.:iagree:
