Sport Dietary Fiber

Sport Fitness
Do you guys take dietary fiber supplements? I'm pretty sure it's better to get fiber from whole grains and fresh whole foods, but what is your opinion? What kinds of things do you eat?

I eat wholegrain english muffins for my carbs & fiber in the morning. 2 of them = about 2/3 of the DV%. And the rest comes from veggies..

I do use a fiber supplement that I blend in with my morning breakfast shake. That provides an extra 5 grams. Other than that, it's all from fruits, seeds, and vegetables.

Get your fibre from whole food and veggies. If this was something like Magnesium and you are a vegetarian/cannot eat certain foods I could understand getting a supplement but there are lots of foods high in dietary fibre.

fiber one cereal every morning my friend...it just takes one cup to get your whole daily value...and there are only 120 cals in a cup!

Flax mixed with peanut butter.

I eat oatmeal and whole wheat bread.

Lots of fruits & veggie.

Like clockwork, I go 1 - 2 times per day.

Flax, Fruits (Apples, Grapefruit, Apricots, Banana's, Pears), veggies, Fiber One, Black Beans and Lima Beans, Beats, Natural Figs, Nuts (Almonds) and Oatmeal, to name a few items.

General info on fiber:

Each one of you are great.

Each one of you can make anything happen.

Each one of you have all the power and intellect to overcome and adapt to anything that gets your way.

Each one of you are strong.

Each one of you are passionate toward your goals.

Each one of you will remain persistent and consistent in training and dieting to meet your personal goals you seek.

Best wishes,

Chillen

Sounds like everyone really likes their flax and cereals. You guys should look into LiveActive. They make crunch cereals like Mixed Berry and Nut Harvest that have whole grain flakes and real fruits and nuts in it, making them beneficial for your digestive system.
