Howdy guys, i'm 20yo and have lost around 15kg's over the last 3-4 years (i weigh around 67kgs) my height is around 5'9"

So far i have done this by just exercising more, eating less junk food snacking less etc etc i haven't actually gone on an aggressive strict diet or anything, but just at my own pace lost the weight; which has successfully worked for me!

So now i have reached that "plateau" if you wish, been hovering around the same weight for a while, so i figure i might increase my workout schedual again and hope i loose these last few kgs!

Aim: To loose the last 5 or so kgs

Time: I'm looking at sticking on a diet for around 2 months, as after that christmas will come and i will also be going away on holidays and although i wont over consume i most certainly don't wanna be stuck on a diet on my only holidays of the year!! ahah

Current diet?: I suppose currently i do eat a lot of proteins, i love scrambled eggs for brekky, love having tuna and beans but apart from that its a pretty regular diet, cereal and toast for brekky, usually a biggish lunch, and then a slightly smaller dinner.

My main question to you guys is, what kind of foods should i be looking at eating for the next two months to accelerate my current weight loss, i work in a supermarket 6 days a week so meals which i can take to work are always good :)

What foods should i avoid?;

Good foods for a healthy snack? ( i currently eat a sultana and nut mix?)

Would a bean rice and tuna mix be a healthy low fat lunch?

Scrambled eggs on toast, is that a healthy breakfast?

Dunno what kind of information will help but thats all that i can think of off of the top of my head :)

Thanks in advance for any help!

PS: I'm not expecting any miracle diet just any tips or anything!, ill be reading up through this forum too

You could lose that 5kg in 2 - 3 weeks no problem! I lost 17Lb and over 8 inches in 25 days so you could lose 11Lb (5kg) in 3 weeks.

What Food Should I Avoid?

Avoid fruit and white carbs unless its your cheat day.

Good Foods For A Healthy Snack?

Carrot Sticks, Tuna mixed with cottege cheese, Mixed Nuts, Humus

Low fat lunch?

Avoid rice, tuna is great. To lose the amount of fat I lost you have to eat out of 3 food groups..

Eat as much as you like out of the following food groups but eat all 3 with every meal. (breakfast can be an exception) Mix and match out of:

Protein: Eggs, Chicken (breast or thigh) Beef, Fish, Pork, Lamb

Legumes: Black Beans, Lentils, Red Beans, Soya Beans, Borlotti Beans

Vegetables: Mixed Vegetables, Peas, Broccoli, Green Beans etc. Any vegetables are allowed

It is important to eat legumes with every meal to give you the calories you will be losing from carbs. Personally I don’t like legumes so I disguise them with veg; when I make mixed veg with a meal I will add black beans to the veg and mix them together so it doesn’t taste or feel like I’m eating any legumes at all. Eating legumes with meals = not feeling tired / no dip in energy. If eating out most restaurants will replace the token carb in a meal (chips, potatoes, rice) with a salad or vegetables. When eating out of the 3 food groups you should aim to eat between 3 – 5 apart, I try to aim in the middle 4 hours apart. My general meal schedule is

8.00am – Breakfast

12.00pm – Lunch

4.00pm – 2nd Lunch

8.00pm – Dinner

If your schedule dictates that you will be out of the house or at work when its meal time (like me) I suggest chicken breast with salad taken in a plastic container or my personal favourite Chilli Con Carny cooked at home and taken to work in a container. It contains all 3 food groups and tastes delicious hot or cold.

Helathy Breakfast?

The eggs are healthy but not the toast.

Hope this helps, any questions dont hesitate to ask :)
