Diet advice

Hi guys,

I have been reading this forum for some time now and decided that it was time to post my diet details for advice/criticism. But first some info.

Im 29 (male) and weighing in at 238lbs standing 6'1" tall. Im looking to loose some fat around the stomach chest area drop around 1.5 stone and build some muscle - all at home.

Routine:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 40Mins weight session
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday - 40Mins Cardio (exercise bike)
Sunday - 1/2 Mile Swim

Diet:

Breakfast - 50g oats, 1x Banana, 25g Protein, 5g Flax Seed, 200ml Skim Milk, Green Tea - Blitzed to a shake.

Lunch - Chicken Sandwich (white bread)

Mid afternoon - 25g Protein with 500ml Water

Evening Meal - 100g Chicken breast, 75g White Rice, 1 Whole Egg, Handfull Vegetables.

Throughout day - 2/3 Litres Water.

So ive been doing this for around 7/8 weeks now, and although i can see/feel muscle building i don't seem to be dropping any fat, nor does my weight on the scales seem to drop.

Any pointers or suggestions on what i can do to help drop this weight?

Thanks in advance.

If you can afford it, buy some used dumbbells. If not, try finding some stuff to lift around your house.

Its definitely not easy but its very possible to cut the fat off. Just keep up with a healthy meal plan . low carbs and high protein and vitamin meals.. exercise and be dedicated. long term results dont come overnight so stay focused at it.. i blog frequently and i posted an article on stomach fat that may help you. There is no big problem in your diet. Just add salad in your lunch and dinner menu if possible. It would make your diet perfect.

See, cardio exercise like running, swimming are not the best exercise to cut the extra fat in your body. This is certain that cardio exercise burns certain amount of calorie but it usually takes long time to get your desired result.

An important thing to remember when undergoing a weight loss program is to understand what needs to be done. Realistic and achievable goals can help in building the confidence needed to make the necessary leap for the achievement of a desired weight.

Here are the couple of best exercises to cut the extra fat in your stomach area:

• The Bicycle Exercise
• The Captain's Chair Leg Raise
• Exercise Ball Crunch
• Vertical Leg Crunch
• Long Arm Crunch

There are a number of activities from which to choose and enjoy. Keep in mind that as long as you're having fun, you can lose weight without realizing it.
