Hi, i will start my bulking phase, or maybe fat loss phase!!?? please critique my body! any critique will be great ( photo number 8 is very near my goal (lol, yeah right)

MY GOAL!

Hey girls i have strech marks in the waist :( actually 5 (4 in 1 side and 1 on the other side of the waist) all my life i have been afraid about the chicks think that my strech marks are very ugly, i`m a surfer and sometimes the boardshort goes a little low ... and the strech marks shows (so i use boxers to go surfing.. and actually i don`t like it!), that is mainly the reason i decided to make bodybuilding. ( apart from having a great health and feel and be strong) Do you think strech marks are a minus in men aperreance??
 
Wtf is "streching"?

Don't be so self-concious about something as miniscule as those stretch marks. Good luck in your bodybuilding.
 
Prabably means hes flexing. Just keep working out and im sure those stretch marks will go away. If it bothers you that much get some coco butter and put it on your skin that should help. G luck man. Oh and i would say first go through a bulking phase then plan on losing some weight.
 
sorry is flexing... my english sucks.... does coco butter will help?? the problem to is that i have strechmarks there (the most visibles..) and in my back like in the lowerback... i grew very fast and my skin REALLLYY sucks.. and when i enter the gym like a year ago strech makrs appeears in the arms... (in the back part) but all of them have disappeared the back strech marks are very diicult to see in a normal position and arms to and i don`t really care about them (i don`t see them so i really forget about them), i`m worry about the front.. i hate the soo much!! when i`m surfing i would like that i hit a coral reef and make a super hole in that part and go to the doctor and cut some skin and put it all together (lol) and they will disappear....

well opinions??
 
Stretch marks are nothing to worry about.

Many girls have them, and I think to see that a guy has them makes us feel better about it. My husband, who is naturally lean, recently developed a few tiny marks in the same place as you. I have them very low on my tummy from 3 pregnancies, so to see that he has a few makes me feel better about mine.

Lots of body builders get them too, mostly on the arms and shoulders, I think.
 
my skin is the worst skin ever, if i have an injury insignificant my body doesn`t heal it very well, is very delicated... ( the only thing i like about my skin is the color it gets before surfing :)) so.. and when i was like 13 years old i was almost the same weight i`m with 30 cms less i`m now so.. and then i almost was changing my weight 5 kgs more os less so... for that reason i want to start bodybuilding.. i prefer to have strech mark with great body, or chubby with strech marks... do you think that i will get that body my goal for july 7 ( like 14 weeks) i have the genetics, my grand pa was a fisher and i saw a photo and was just like a bodybuilder, my father also enter the gym and became very bulk and cut.. and my uncle (mother part) is a bodybuilder-doctor so i think i have genetics from both , and i think i can change my weight very fast i lost 22 lbs in 3 weeks...

what do you think?

You have to be kidding me, it'll take at the very least 6 months or a year of proffessional training to get that body, it you're lucky. I don't mean to be discouraging but it's the truth.

Don't worry about the stretch marks I have them too, my gf doesn't mind at all.
 
damn because a guide that i download said that you can gain 30 lbs in 12 weeks so.. and have a plan , foods, explantation of everything... so i think that is posible.. what are a personal trainer or something, but thanks for the advise!
 
Those stretch marks are very small. I have huge ones that are around 2-3 inches long on my shoulder, bicep and chest. I have darker skin also, so their even more visible. However, they same to be fading a bit by themsleves and I dont' think they look that bad. When they were new it looked like a cougar attacked my whole left side. Doesn't matter though, little scares like that are nothing compared to the muscle you gain, at least you know your growing.

Plus some girls think they look like hot battle scares ;)

LOL!!! , hey guys do you think my goal can become real? in 14 weeks ( like 4 months..maybe less..) working very hard and eating right and that stuff?
 
No I don't. To get that big from where you're starting will take a year or two.

If you're afraid of getting more stretch marks, then apply lotion to your body everyday, usually when you get out of the shower and dry off. I don't have any personal experience with stretch marks, but I've read that there is little you can do to eliminate the stretch marks you already have (aside from surgery). The best you can do is help prevent them.
 
It says your 161lbs. I find that hard to believe from your photos. You may want to check your height and weight again. Unless your legs are somehow HUGE i don't see how its possible.

Agreed, I'm the same height as you and I think I look a little bigger and im only 145-150lbs. Maybe it's a typo in your profile or am i completely wrong? Also, it's hard to bring bf% down when your bulking. Don't try rushing things, just do them the right and healthy way.
 
First of all don't worry about the stretch marks... if your planning on gaining that much muscle in such a short time... they will do nothing but get bigger.

For your actual goal... if your new to training and have a good plan you can get pretty decent results if the food intake is good and get enough rest. Personally when I started lifting I gained 35 lbs in 4 months... but like others mentioned the bf% did go up.

All you can really do is give it your best shot and don't get disappointed!

yeap no dout about it i`m 161 lbs... or 72 kgs.. my uncle is 70 or something like that and have the abs visibles.. and have a little of muscle.. tomorow i`m entering the gym i will tell you my exact bf% and yes lol my genetics tell the fat go to the legs and butt, but girls like my but and legs right now so i don`t have any problem on them lol ( that doesn`t mean i wont work them..i will concentrate in cuadricep and calves i love them!!) but i`m concentrated in my upper part... abs, chest, deltoids, bicep, tricep, trapezius, obliques. when i have 22bf% ( october 2004)(i was 83 kgs.. 180 lbs) i have huge arms legs and butt... lol, and my chest grows but in a certain bulky way because i put on a shirt and i see some bulky i take it off and is a complete mess... lol

How much does your bf% increases, ( put you initial and finish bf..) are you sure it was muscle and not chubby parts?? lol...

i set my goal to july 7 because i have a trip to an island called san andres ( senior trip) so.. i want to look very good... very cut and 20 lbs of muscle....! maybe the guy in the photo (my goal) have like 40-50 lbs os mucle maybe but i will stay working on the body after that trip.. so.. just with 20 lbs i think is ok and achivable for july.. and i think i will not see skinny (cause i think to lower my bf to 8 %) but not to bulk as the guy in the photo...

ps: ( the photo #8 ) all chicks in my msn said : ohh my god, is that you in pic??, please send it to me!! jeje lol... in my country all guys are very skinny the have like -87bf% (lol) the obese people are people like me... so.. :cool:

Diego, I wish you luck with your goals, but you need to set a reasonable goal for yourself or you are going to be disappointed. There is no way you can go from where you are to looking like that other pic by this July. July, next year maybe, if your training and diet are perfect. It is not possible, even with steroids.
 
thanks crazylegs, i know my goal is very difficult to achive... in so little time.. but i just want to have a bulky and cut aspect for july 7 i think 20 pounds of muscle is enough...(not to skinny but not to bulk like my goal) and having 8bf% i think that is and achivable goal.. For my REAL GOAL i know i have to workout alot but i have time..:) ,

yeah the photos are a big change i reduced a lot, but alot of body fat like in 5 weeks(between 10% and 6%)... i just came from the gym and the trainer was very shock about my fat loss he can`t belive it, i ask him about my food, my workout and said it was very good.. so.. i`m xtremly happy!! i thought my bf was 15% and i have 12%!! i just want my sweet 8% and a supper ripped abs..!

ps: you will see my changes every 2 weeks...:)
