Determined

Hello everyone. A quick background on me, I've been dieting for 3 years, I started with Atkins, lost 20 then leveled for 9 months only eating 20 grams of carbs a day. I spent 3 months slowly re-introducing carbs back into my system (didn't gain any weight) and switched to weight watchers. I did everything online, didn't go to any meetings, and I was able to lose another 40. Now I've leveled. I've been at this weight since Sept, and I realize that to lose the last 10-20, I need to get into an excercise routine. The most I did before was walking a couple times a week.

I checked out a few gyms, but I wasn't comfortable paying the $50 a month for the next 12 months with just buying a new house in Jan. Plus there's not much the gym give me (other than the weight machines) that I don't have at home. So I went out and bought a step for step aerobics, balance ball, dumbells, and 6 new workout DVDs to give me variety.

My goal is to be able to work out a hour a day for 3-4 days a week and doing something like (yoga, pilates, weights) on the off days. I definately want to look like I'm in shape, using how Demi Moore looked in GI Jane as motivation. I do have a lot of excess skin and flab from losing so much weight, what is the best way to get rid of that? I just started working out and I know that it takes a few months before you start to see results, I just want to make sure I'm doing the ideal workout for my body.

I'm 5'6 and 150. I don't really have a goal weight, I just have a goal in mind as far as how I want to look. Some people look fabulous at 110 and some people look fabulous at 150, it just depends on the person, and I'm not sure what type of person I am yet. I'm still eating healthy, doing the weight watchers thing.

I guess right now, I'm just trying to keep the motivated mind set that I have now and not lose focus.
