Desperate for HELP!!!!

Hi my name is Cassie. I have been trying for many years to lose weight without any success. I have tried all the fad diets with little success. I am hoping to find another alternative that will help me with my problem. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I am 50+ years old and desperate to better my health. I am very limited on the exercises that I can do due to my weight but I am willing to try anything at this point to better my situation.

I just wanted to welcome you to the WLF. I can't really give advise seeing how I am in the same boat.

If I could suggest anything though it would be eat more fruits and veggies. Being that you are limited to strenuous exercise walking seems to be the answer for you.

Hello Cassie, you will lose weight if you want to:) Diet and exercise are most essential for weight loss. However, you need to find the right way. watch your diet and count calories. Walking is the best exercise. 40 minutes walk every day can improve the metabolic function of the body and the consumption of fat accumulation in the body.

I agree with the above! Walk walk walk! Even walk around your house, or your yard. You don't need fancy gear, you just need some comfortable shoes and maybe something good to listen to.
 
Try reading the sticky threads on the forum. most of them will tell you exactly how and where and what etc and all those helpful hints :)
