depression eating.need help

ok recently i got some not so good news and ive been kinda coping with eating.not eating crap but only sometimes but i may eat a bit more a a few more.how can i recover and try to get everything back in better shape than i was?
im thinking of hiiting the gym but i feel like ashamed since i know alot of ppl there.
but yeah another help me thread.but only this has depression in it.

well, i don't know if this will help, but we all have issues or things that will distract us from time to time. my distraction is usually my in-laws and all their drama. i found myself missing training because i was getting sucked into their bs. i eventually ended up changing my outlook on my training to help motivate me to get back on track.

since i have a good sense of work ethics, i started looking at training at the gym as i would look at work. since i do train for professional mixed martial art events. i just looked at eating right and working out as my 2nd job. that really helped me.

now i am not saying you should do the exact same thing. what i am saying is that you should look at who you are and look at what motivates you. once you figure that out, you might be able to change your situation.
