Very quick backstory, I'm working on my fitness doing 3 25-30min runs a week along with weight training to help strength and tone body. Still early on so haven't had any major change as of yet but I am noticing results.
In any case, I have always felt that I have had a "chubby" face, I am now 21 years old, so I have got to the age when puberty isn't changing as much about me anymore. When I was in my early teens (from about 13-15) I had a really bad spell and was very chubby, I was late to hit puberty for the most part so naturally eventually I started to thin out anyway, but when I hit 16 I became more active and by 17 was a lot more active and most of the puppy fat had fallen off.
I feel though that this has left me with two things, slight manbreasts (though that's for another time), and still a slightly chubby face. I can notice from photos and just by looking in the mirror that at side angles I don't have a whole lot of definition in my jawline, and it's more of a blurry from chin to neck, my skin on my neck is quite elastic and I can stretch it quite far, this would make sense(?) considering I used to be chubby and have much more of a double chin and have now lost all that; thus leaving me with stretchy skin.
It's something that has bothered me a lot and still does and I'm trying to get rid of it and just help give my face more definition. I have researched into doing this, I know that I need to lower my sodium/salt so that I don't retain as much water (this would make sense to my chubby face features because I know for a long time I eat a ridiuclous amount of salt and am now trying to cut back majorly), I know now to drink a lot more fresh water throughout the day (I keep a bottle full with me always!). I also know that some people put weight quicker onto the face, and that for some it can be the first to go, or the last to go in terms of weight loss, and for me I'm beginning to think it will be the last thing to go (SADLY!)!
Expanding from this, I looked over youtube etc and found some tips on how to help define the muscles in the face to tighten the skin and bring out the jaw better. I found some good simple tips, but there is one in particular I wanted to show and see what people think.
It is a technique using a gumshield with strap, and a small weight attached to the end and you just let it hang using your mouth to hold it. I have ordered a gumshield and will be attempting this technique, for this guy it seems to have been a good technique in helping the face 'tone up'.
I wanted to know what your opinion(s) is/are, and if you have any tips or experience yourself of how to help weightloss in the face and defining the jaw/cheekbones etc.

Thanks in advance,
