Hey guys, i'm out running every morning now and have steped up to a 3 1/4 mile run which takes about 30mins and because of where I live I run up and down alot of hills but have found a route where there is as much up hill as downhill.
I can manage the run but when I hit the first climb my legs feel like they have no energy, like they are hollow. By the time I get to the top I'm drawing in deep breaths but that soon comes back under controll as I head along a flat then down a long shallow hill.
By the time I hit my last hill (the top if which is my finish point and this is hill starts as a shallow climb but becomes very steep by the top) my legs seem to find the energy to pull me up at a rather impresive pace.
All I have before going running is water but is there something I can do to get some energy to my leg mussels earlier in the run so I can pick my time up or is it jus a case of more training to improve the cardio system?
