Day 1 - Atkins

I have been reading up on the Atkins diet and yes there is a lot of negative and positive feedback. I am looking for a short quick weight loss of 2 stone by the end of May 2011 so think that this will suit me.

I have written down lots of yummy meals and recipes so that the next 2 weeks (Induction phase) r not boring and just grill ups lol.

I am currently 158lbs so I will weigh myself nxt Monday and let you know...

I have had smashy egg for breakfast, a lovely cheese and Turkey Omlette for lunch with Lettuce and am now making some yummy homemade burgers stuffed with cream cheese and chive with salad mmmmm.

I defo need to drink more water though, I have had 3 cups of decaff coffee and about 1 glass of water, should really change the coffee for water yeah?

Welcome kkbryant, the main thing is to eat healthy, sounds like you are doing ok in that department. Actually some say two to three cups of coffee or tea can be good for you. But there are mixed feelings on that statement. I have anywhere from two or three cups of coffee/tea through the day. Yes, water is best to help you keep your bowels Moise (natural laxative). I try to drink at least 60oz a day. When I fell to drink the water I can tell the difference.
