Well, here I go-don't know if I'm doing this in the right thread/post whatchamacallit but ...
Yesterday, after joining this forum I was inspired by all of your efforts and struggles. I've never been so detailed in my health and well-being, but maybe that's what got me 15 lbs fatter:blush5: However, I'm jumping in head first so:
Yesterday I ran my regular trail, felt strong, not fast, and was in a great mood for the remainder of the evening.
Today I ate breakfast (big deal for me) just a protein shake, as that's all I can choke down at 6am. Then went back to my mountain trail with my dog (who is currently in a coma under the coffee table); ran 2.5 mi with only 2 breaks, its about 82F today so hydrating is critical. I felt soooooooooo good, ran twice as far as yesterday and much faster uphill- came home at a poached chic. brst with tomatoes, green beans, and 1/4 c. brown rice delish.

I still haven't figured out how to count calories, where to log meals, if I'm gonna log meals but damn I feel STUPENDOUS!!! This is why I love to run, I just got caught in the "Poor me" cycle and ate to make me feel better. Oh well, today I don't feel that way.

Again, if this diatribe is inappropriate please tell me but it sure feels good writing it down!!
