Cycles - how do you maintain your target weight?

I found that losing weight is not a problem for me. The problem starts after I get to the desired weight. Then a few things happen:

- my mind shifts for that goal to something else and slippage in the diet becomes more and more frequent
- i start to have new ideas like "maybe i should bulk up a bit" - excuse for eating junkier food

I guess the secret is transforming the good habits in a routine but I don't seem to be able to find the recipe and the balance for this to happen.

How do you guys do it? Do you also struggle with this kind of cycles or it is only me?

It's all about developing good eating habits. I don't have the same problem you have exactly, but I do long vigorous training 5 days a week so I have to take breaks for a few days every now and then. On those days I have to increase my intake so I can full recover in a timely fashion, and I often redevelop the desire to eat too much.

I suppose I wasn't much help, but I do have that problem in my own way from time to time. It may be a constant struggle that we will just have to learn to fight in our own way.
