Hey guys,
For the past two months or so, I've been working out pretty hard (5 days a week, about 1-2 hours each time). So I'm pleased to say I've made some decent muscle and strength gains. However, I'd like to shed some of the fat I have on me. In about a week or two I'm probablly gonna start running more and begin lowering my calorie intake.
So my question is, is it possible to lower my %body fat without losing some of the muscle I've gained? I'm not like a competitive bodybuilder nor am I one who is really gonna modify his diet, I just wanna get rid of some of the flab around my waist. I drink 1-2 protein shakes every day I work out, and I don't have much flexibility with my diet since I'm a vegetarian. After I start running, should I decrease my calorie consumption and continue lifting in the evenings to achieve what I want to achieve?
Thanks everyone, appreciate it a lot!
