Cutting Weight Lifting Routine

Bench Press
Dumbbell Bent-over Row
Lat Pull Downs
Military Press
Squats
Romanian Deadlifts

**I might add in good mornings later on and maybe some olympic lifts after a couple months of lifting.

I do it three times a week and my rep schemes are 5x5 for one week and 3x8 the next week. I thought I would go back and forth.

I am a total noob at weightlifting, would this be a good routine?

PS - I read somewhere that doing around 12 reps even when your cutting is most beneficial for a certain time if your a complete noob. is that true?
 
If your still a beginner try to avoid cutting or bulking and learn the proper technique on all the lifts. 3x10 is the recommended set/rep range for a beginner. Just start off with 3x full body workouts a week m/w/f and eat right and you should have a good start. Include all the main compounds

Chest= Bench Press
Legs =Squats/Deadlifts
Shoulders= Military Press
Back= Bent-over-row /Inverted Row
Hamstrings= Romanian Deadlifts
Core Work* (Planks, side planks, crunches, side crunches, back extensions)
