I have to say I have never been to a cirves gym, but the idea of joining a gym where you pay them money (and probably quite alot of money as your only getting 30 mins a day, max of 3.5 hours a week and aprox 14 hours a week IF you were to go every day of the week for a month) and then you have to suppliment that by going home to do more.....
Something doesn't quite add up there.
I'd say find a gym you can do more at- there has to be something near you that competes with the curves gym like a local authority run gym or another chain gym, even a private gym- not everyone has such in-your-face advertising so ask around to see. But if your going to workout at home anyway to suppliment the curves gym, maybe do the entire workout at home. Try group stuff like walking or running clubs, football or tennis groups- whatever your into.
I think the idea of 30 mins max inside the gym seems really quite odd- it takes most people about 10 to 15 mins to warm up properly and then start some real work. 15 mins work a day (and thats if you went every day) and what about cooling down and stretching? that takes time too....just doesn't seem to me an idea which would work for anyone for more then say a month and that maybe its best for those who have never steped foot inside a gym before and just want to get into the habit of, erm well, turning up!
Or maybe a place to stretch and chat about exercise?
Am just not sure how exactly they'd work! know they have been going a while, but the whole concept just confuses me!
