curious

whats up evry1 ........i was jus curious to find out what would happend if you do a fbw 3 times a week but only eat about 2000-2500 calories a day?
will you get the same results just a little slower?
will you not build as much muscle??

please answer thank youuuu

Well it depends how tall/heavy you are already. If you're 6'2"/225 lbs then you're going to look like a twig. If you're 4'0"/100 lbs then it's probably okay.

Just as a reminder, 2500 cals a day is barely maintainence for any average person with any sort of activity.

well im 5' 10'...163lbs what do u reccomend the bare minimum can be.....because im not a guy who can eat alot...i find it very difficultt i've tried but yahh

This is not really an answer your question, but we are roughly the same height and weight(I'm 5'9'' / 163lbs), though I'm probably older than you(39) thus slower metabolism, and for the last 6 weeks I've been on:

clean bulking diet of 2900 cal
Fbw 3x/week
light cardio 2 or 3 days/week

I have gained approx 6lbs so far. I'm not really sure how much has been muscle and how much fat.

totally depends on th amount of strain and effort and time at increased heart rate you are putting into the workout. i can do a full body workout and never break 80 in pulse or 100 in rate.

So, my experience says---

Just break a sweat and then tell us what happens.... hypotheticals are for mental masterbators!!! Building muscle, and endurance are for ....nevermind.

ok,,, i will log off now

If you are looking to slowly bulk or put on size with minimal bodyfat try taking in 16-16.5 times bodyweight for calories.

Also if you are going to only workout 3x a week fullbody then you need to make sure that you kill it each time in the gym and use a lot of free weight compound basic lifts. I definately think that you can make good gains on a program like that
Combine hard work in the gym, proper diet and rest you will get results

this is the best answer:
you must eat over your maintenance calorie level to gain any kind of mass.
the rate at which you gain is directly controlled by the amount of surplus you eat every day.
a girastic surplus will lead to muscle gain, but additional fat storage. your body can only manufacture a certain amount of muscle(depending on your genetics) every week, regardless of how many calories it has in excess.
so,
you should aim to eat only enough to allow optimal muscle growth and a minimal amount of fat gain.
this is usually around 1-2 lb gain every month.
