lol, no. Sorry for laughing, but being a vegetarian is really good, and healthy. You can always get your protein sources elsewhere.

changeforlife is spot on, being a vegetarian is going to help you to lose weight! I was one for many years but recently started eating fish through personal reasons, but even without fish you can survive nicely. you just need to get a bit more creative with what you eat to make sure you arent lacking. I eat linseeds which are a good protein source and full of omega 3, make sure you eat plenty green leafy veg.
 
If you make sure to carefully select and work your protein sources then it is fine.
