Cripple Mans Journal

hi guys im very young and i have been playing sports from a very young age ... a year or so ago i realized that weight training would probaby improve my sports performance greatly and besides i know not many others my age are doing it so it gives me a one up on the competition. well i spent the past year educating myself( or trying to anyway) in basic fitness knowledge and nutrition. Then about 4 months or so ago i started a diet and somewhat weight training(i had no access to a gym but i did weighted pullups pushups dips other things like that core work etc...)
the improvments on my body have been tremendous appearance wise and performance.
i realized how much i could benefit from a real weight training program!!

so i asked my mother to enroll me for a trainer at golds gym for my birthday (your not allowed to use the gym til your 14).
i eat well because my parents are very health concious.I pretty much have 6 meals a day all though they arent all equal in calories(its hard with school and stuff etc...)
so i thought id document my progress in this journal...

unfortunately i was crippled lol hence the title playing soccer a few weeks ago with a PCL strain so i probly wont be able to do much leg work when i do start ...

yea i dont turn 14 for about 1 1/2 months so you probably wont see this journal again for awhile

im going to try and take down all of what i eat, lift, and excersise.

il try and post up a pic of my starting point i dont have my own camera however.

umm when i am lifting weights il probably be eating like im bulking but not nearly as much as most people would eat because im not really interested in making quick and maximized gains as i am in staying in shape for sports and making slower gains (i cant really put on much fat with soccer season and football )

k ive been eating 6 350 meals a day which comes to about 2100 becuase im sitting around the house unable to do anything :mad:

hey btw could someone help me with my bmr

i used an internet calculator for the one im using right now but it seems really low just to maintain me even if im only lightly active.
i walk alot during the school week though.

im currently 5'11 6'
and back and forth btwn 166 170
13 years of age

im also hoping that leg gains will improve speed/agility so the extra weight of fat ive gained will kind of balance out with it and i will stay the same speed during sports.
