Creating a Stronger, Happier Me!

Hi everyone!
Well, I'm a 16 year old girl and I'm a little overweight at the moment. I'm looking to lose atleast 20 lbs but the pounds don't matter that much to me, it's the measurements and how I feel.
All I'm going to be doing is eating healthier and exercising. Hopefully, it will work out well for me.
So, my starting weight was 164 lbs. I started eating healthier about a week and so far I've lost 4 lbs! Yay! My ultimate goal weight is 130 but I'm going to see how things are at 140 lbs.
As for measurements, I'll post them later.

Ok, so here's my food journal for today...

Breakfast-
One pack of oatmeal.

Snack-
1/3 cup of peanuts.

Lunch-
Sandwich (Fat free sandwich meat, mustard, whole wheat bread).
Packet of Cup-A-Soup.

Snack-
1/3 cup of peanuts.

Dinner-
Steak.
Perogies.
Salade.

Exercise-
30 minutes stationary bike - morning.
30 minutes stationary bike - evening.


I'll post measurements a bit later.

Well, here's my starting measurements! ...

Thigh- 22 inch.
Butt- 42 inch.
Waist- 41 inch.
Ribs- 34.5 inch.

There's are the main areas that I want to lose inches.
 
Well, last night I couldn't risist having a little treat- a homemade rice crispy square. I guess I'm paying for it this morning ! :( I woke up to a wonderful 2 pound gain! I was doing so well and then I just had to have that treat. Well, no more for me! I'm motivated and ready for a change!
So, I'm going away to my Grandparents for Thanksgiving, which is in just less than 2 weeks. I'm excited because I get to visit them and plus I hope they notice the weight I've had over the summer!
Well, I should really think about doing a little bit of exercising.

So, today I think I did half decent with my eating!

Breakfast-
One oatmeal packet.

Lunch-
Sandwich.

Snack-

Lean Cousine meal.

Snack-
5 Perogies.
100 cal mini bag of Dortioes (Couldn't resist lol)

So, yeah. I'm hoping that tomorrow I'm maybe right under 160. Maybe 159?

I dont think you put on 2lbs of fat because of a rice crispy!

Its probably just fluid retention, I wouldnt worry about it. Looks like you are going great keep it up!

Yeah, that's what I figured it was. Though, I wasn't sure.

Well, I've been doing well over the last few days. I'm down to 158 lbs now.
I won't post a food diary because I've been eating basicaly the same things. It's hard when there's only certain healthy foods in the house.

Exactly, and don't worry about the number too much, if you feel better that's what matters. The rest comes in time ;)
