Creatine

I bought some creatine powder. It's 140 calories, 34g carbs (*33 sugar). 33 sugar? Why? Is this not good? Does it matter?

The sugar is just fillers...which means empty calories. i have one creatine powder with like ten grams and it takes two big scoops, i have another that only uses one tablespoon (same grams of creatine)....

Do I need to drink creatine as soon as I mix it, or could I mix it in a water bottle in the morning and drink it for lunch?

the longer it stays in liquid the less stable it becomes. contrary to the idiotic ads stating that it becomes "toxic" after it hits the liquid, thats not the case. but it would be much better to mix it at the time you take it.

you bought a creatine delivery system, like Cell-Tech, as opposed to straight creatine.

the longer creatine sits in liquid, the more it converts to creatinine. Creatinine is only 'toxic' if you already have kidney problems...and if that was the case you wouldn't be taking creatine in the first place is my guess.
But the more that converts to creatinine, the less creatine you have for the muscles.

My advice: take it immediately post workout - down your protein shake, down your creatine shake, and you're done.
