creatine doesn't dissolve?

Is creatine suppose to dissolve into a liquid when you mix it? I have the GNC brand and it will not dissolve even when i put it in a blender with gatorade or water, and shaking it will just lead to the creatine falling to the bottom pretty quickly. It seems like an easy way to waste the stuff if its not really dissolving, so are you just suppose to mix it up and chug it before it starts to settle or something? sorry for another creatine question but ive been taking it the last few days and wondering about this.

To my knowledge, it doesn't dissolve (easily, at least).. I always just put it in grapejuice/gatorade and stir it before I chug it so that the creatine particles are suspended in the liquid.

Yup, monohydrate shouldn't really dissolve in room temp/cold water..

I have no idea about the new ethyl ester kind..

yeah it doesn't really fully dissolve. I just stir/shake the crap outta it and then slam it. otherwise you end up with creatine grit in the bottom of your drink. unappetizing.

i've met people who just pop a teaspoon in their mouth, and then drink a glass of water. I'm not that extreme ;)

thats how i take mine. not all at one time though, in two shots

Just get the shaker they sell at GNC I think for 5 bucks. Works VERY well. Its a hard plastic bottle, then a mouth peice that looks like a sippy cup, that you can cap and uncap. Inside toward the top is a circular peice that is used to keep the liquid in a circular funnel motion.

^or just the spoon. :D
