1. does the signature load up immediately, or does it take some time to go into the system?

2. how come when I post a pic, it comes in the message as a "thumbnail"?
How do I make it big like I see in other members' posts?

Yes, the sigs load up right away :)

Thumbnails arn't a big deal, u can click on them to see them bigger.
 
I know, I know, but I saw some posts where the pic was large to begin with, not a thumbnail - as soon as you open the post.

those may have been before changes were made to the forum when the bb code was still enabled? because i used to be able to add full size pics in manage attachments and now they show up tiny or only as a clickable link if i have them hosted somewhere else.
 
it also depends on the size of the pic. If the dimensions are too big, they will always be made into thumbnails, so as to not distort the look of the forum.
 
Maybe this was changed with the update (I haven't checked), but as far as I was aware, you can also upload your pictures to an outside webhost (Image Shack is a popular one) and then insert it into your posts using the
 
yeah, I like photobucket. you can edit pictures in there, and even store them, all for free.

I like to save them on my desktop as well, but if I am away from my computer, I cannot access them. If they are online, on photobucket, I can access them anywhere.

yeah I'm a photobucket fan myself...especially since I'm online at work all the time, then I can have access to my pictures if I get on another computer too...such convenience lol
 
if your in a hurry and just want to get your pic hosted and showing up somewhere then use tinypic.com
