Counting my calorie but not eating healthy food.

Like I said before Im doing 30 minutes of work out and eating 1,600 calories a day. Like 1 slice of bacon consist 200 calorie, hotdog, a bit of rice, etc. And I eat every 3 hours. And I thought It was fine since I lose about 25 pounds. But now I'm working and couldn't really eat on time most of the time or eat every three hours, so to sum it up my diet are ruin (if you can call what I did a diet). Though I didn't gain any pounds by not going on my diet anymore, but I still couldn't understand why Im losing weight in every part of my body but my belly? Its still the same no matter how many sit ups or crunches I do. Well thats not really a major problem, every now and then I'll have a stomachache every time I eat something (am I getting my ulcer back?). Also my breast are shrinking. How sad...

Hey. Im not a fully qualified Personal Trainer yet, But i do study Health Science at uni, and PT atm and i would recomment that the calorie consumption is fine, but inlude healthy foods. 1g of fat gives 2 times more energy than CHO, so u can either eat 50G of fat, or 100G of CHO (carbo's) to get the same amount of energy. Also lots of fruit and veggies is great!. The eating every three hours is great try and keet it up as much as possible.

A few qtns.. What type of work out do you do? is it walking, weights ect.

you cannot spot loose fat, so even if you did 10000's of sit ups a day you still couldnt see your abs. you need to loose the belly by aerobic excersise. Everyones weight gain/ loss is different. Your stomach may be the last place you will loose weight. Keep at it at lease your trying.

hope i helped :).

its probably because the abdominal muscles are the hardest muscles to get to show because of the surrounding fat, so it looks like your not making progress. Stick with it and sure enough they'll come through eventually.

I've been dieting and training since mid April and have lost 32 pounds, down from 242 to 210 and I still can't see my abs. I train them every second day and do cardio most days ranging from 20 - 45 minutes with a combination of treadmill, bike and elliptical machine, doing both HIIT and slower speeds.

As for your diet you may only be consuming 1600 calories but bacon and hot dogs aren't a great way of making up them. Try and stick with lean chicken breast, tuna or even steak with plenty of fruit and veg.
