Could you critique me?

Hey this is Molly, I'm 15 years old and I am a new member to this site.

I'll try to make this short and sweet.

Last year I started to lose weight. I cut out all junk food and by just doing that I lost 30 lbs. I now weigh 127 lbs and 5'7 and am trying even harder. I'm going on a big vacation this summer and want to look good.

I have been eating healthy for a year now, and once school gets back in im going to do cardio and weight room with my friend after school everyday.

Basically my goal is to lose 30 more lbs. I DON'T eat any fatty foods, I can't even remember the last time I ate a donut.

Here is what I eat, and I'm wondering if you could critique my diet.

Breakfast- Bowl or Rice Cereal with Skim Milk, Fruit
Lunch- Salad, (Little or no dressing) Fruit
Snack- Celery
Dinner- 1/2 of my plate vegtables, 1/4 meat, 1/4 other, fruit, Water
I don't eat anything after dinner

So that's basically it. Please comment because I really am trying to lose weight and I'll take all the help I can get. Good luck to all!

No protein - eggs, chicken breast, turkey, beef, fish, cheese, yogurt

Why in the hell do you want to lose another 30lbs? Your 5'7 at 127pounds you should be looking great if your bodyfat is low.

Take at least one day of rest a week.

I agree with Newf, at that height and weight you probably look great, even if you don't think so. From there I would try and put a little muscle on, to get that toned look. To lose another 30lbs would be a bad idea.

wow molly i'm shorter than you at 5' 5" and i weight close to what you do, you definately don't want to lose more weight. thats a bad idea, hit the weights and firm up your muscles and you'll see better results. why is like 100lbs the magic number?? there is nothing wrong with the weight you are now..

I think your current weight is great as it is. But if you really want to lose some more pounds I'd suggest not to get any lower than 120. Besides, being a 100 pounds (having lost 60 in total) won't be very pretty. You'll probably lose a lot of muscle along with the fat. Like crazylegs said, focus on toning up and replacing fat with muscle rather than losing more of both. You'll look better without noticing it on the scale. weight is just a number, and therefore only an indication. 2 girls with the same height and weight can look very different from eachother.

great work on your losses! and your new healthy eating lifestyle :D

i'd say definetly get some more protein
also, do you know about eating 4-7 smaller meals throughout the day, to speed up your metabolism? Still eat the same amount of calories, but spread it out in equal sized meals. Well good luck. . .
