could someone one give me a few tips

hi, i was wondering if someone could help me i just bought some weights, some dumbells and barbell. and i was wondering wats the best way to use them, like how long, how many reps sets etc.and same with the barbell. i want to build up my upper and lower body strength, arms shoulders neck chest legs and that, be gd if someone can help me

You may want to start off with 2-3 full body workouts per week. Make sure you're working all the muscle groups of the back, chest, abdomen, upper and lower legs, arms and shoulders. If you haven't worked with weights before it's a real good idea to have a trainer design a program for you.
Here's a site that will at least give you some exercises. However, keep in mind that you seeking professional advice would be a good idea.
