Over the past couple of days I have been noticing an increasing amount of “near cramps” in my right calf. I’m going through a warm up phase and a cool down phase, and I’m sure to stretch before and after, but it doesn’t seem to make any appreciable difference. I’ve been doing 30min routines on a magnetic resistance bike, which looks something like this
5 min warm up of slow stepping up resistance
20min of low resistance to high resistance intervals
5 min of slow stepping down resistance
The “cool down” portion is where I get this really nasty cramping feeling in my right calf. The more I slow down the worse it gets…but only in my left leg, I’m not sure what to do about this.
Any ideas?
