comfortable crunches?

My favorite ab worker so far is the bicycle crunch but it doesn't feel good after a while because of my anterior pelvic tilt. Having all that space between the arch of my back and the floor just doesn't feel right. I also tried doing leg lifts but there was a small clicking sound in my back when I brought my legs down and I figured that was unnatural so decided not to do those. I'm looking for some recommendations of a good ab workout that is easy on the lower back.

You might want to try some corrective exercises... There is this one that is just a stretch... you lay on your back and put one leg up on a chair of box forming a 90 degree angle with your knee. The other leg is out flat and you concentrate on not just stretching your hip flexors but also bringing your lower back to the floor.

It really sounds like you need to stretch your hip flexors. There are tons of great stretches to help with that.

You can also really try to squeeze your stomach in during exercises. That will help keep you lower back straighter.
