Combining Hydroxycut with Atkins?

To start off...I'm (was) 35-40lbs overweight. I've been using Hydroxycut for a while now and really have seen good results in this time, of course combining it with regular exercise (I play quite a lot of basketball and bike) and a healthy diet. Lately, I have jumped on the Atkins bandwagon and have seen even more results! in total losing close to 20lbs. All this time continuing to use Hydroxycut. My question is if this is safe/healthy/somewhat counter-productive because if it's caffeine content (green tea? good bad?)? Something that the Atkins regimen wants you to stay away from.

if you want my personal opinion, I wouldnt touch a reigime which relies on atkins and hydroxycut with a barge pole.

Congrats on the good results!
I have never liked Hyrdoxycut and/or Atkins in the first place.
Using Hyrdoxycut has done nada for me, really. I took it for about 60 days at that time last year. It did give me more energy for w/outs, but I have gotten better results with diet alone. I had some nasty side effects though.

I am greatly in favor of low-carbing in general, where fat is the main source of fuel for the body. The positive effects are boundless.
Atkins is quite restrictive in the beginning, I generally prefer a 50:40:20 (F:p:C) ratio in my diet.

I would not combine Atkins with Hyrdoxycut for purely practical reasons. They both dehydrate you pretty bad. Hyrodxycut gives you cramps without low carb, I don't want to know what its like on it. I dont consider it safe for periods longer than 60-90 days. If you have been taking it for a while, it might be time to stop. Make a gallon of green tea and drink that, instead. After all, diet is 99% of success.

Careful Kvaras, your putting a serious strain on your liver and kidneys. Remember the Hydroxycut isn't forever. (got stuck on that one).
You don't want to have to rely on pills, and a restricted diet forever.
If you MUST, then drink enough water to drown a horse...then drink some more.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the replies and info, Thanks especially to gal for the article! Very informative. Luckily, armywife, I do drink a crazy amount of water everyday, not just because I should, but because I like it too! I will take everyone's advice into consideration and will update you on my progress!

Thanks guys and gals!

;)
