Comapre: Run ouside 30 min, or run inside 60 min

I am curious?! I just got out of hospital and i am still kinda of "addict" to lose weight...so?! What's best?! Running outside for 30 mins? (i am tired after these 30 min) or inside, on running band for 60 min, while watching TV?!
I heard that running outside would be better

Is it hilly where you live?

If it is, then it might be better to challenge yourself with natural ups and downs of your topography. Of course you can always set the treadmill for hills.

I think it would be tough to prove that 30 minutes outside would ever better 60 minutes inside. This being said, I hate the treadmill and would run 1.5 hours outside.
 
It will depend on how hard you run.

A harder run outside for 30 minutes can be much better for your fitness and weight loss than a really easy 60 minute run inside where you don’t feel like you’re doing anything.

The quality of your running is more important than quality, plus you can save time while you’re at it.

Right on!

And once your body gets used to 30 minutes of running (which it will) start doing sprints. They only take 20 minutes which includes the warm up and warm down period.
