just found this thread.. great idea!
What stinks about being fat
1. Less mobility
2. High Bp
3. Higher risk of diabetes
4. Feeling self conscious
5. bad example to my kids
6. Cant play with kids much
7. hate shopping for clothes
8. not as comfortable in bedroom with hubby
9. cant run
10. as i get out of my car, hip rubbing steering wheel(im short)
11. cant see my 'po-po' because my flab hides it
12. BACK FAT EWWW
13. fat hides great leg muscles
14. not getting hit on! Yup even at my age, it does feel nice to be flirted with
15. getting less attention in general. why wont people hold the door open for me at a store when Im fat?
16. sleep apnea
17. eating in public and feeling self conscious
18. having to wear 'hide it' shirts
19. not wearing dresses as much as id love to
20. feeling tired

When Im thin I look forward to
1. Getting a new wardrobe!
2. Including a two piece with said wardrobe
3. Compliments...from ANY body!
4. going on my walks and hearing the occasional honk!
5. Eating out and making it a treat
6. Playing with the kids
7. Feeling confident at one of my kid's functions
8. Dancing! I love to dance but wont when Im big
9. Lowering my BP and maybe getting off meds
10. reducing the risk of diabetes
11. going on vacations and actually enjoying them and doing more on them!
12. laying on my back at night and feeling my stomach all nice and flat(great mood booster!)
13. Getting flirted with more by DH!
14. Playing more golf with DH
15. Having to even get new shoes! I lose a half a shoe size at a smaller weight
16. Feeling great at family reunions and high school reunions
17. Hearing what I heard a stranger tell me once " Young lady your build is simply perfect!"

Things I hate about being fat

1. Crappy clothes...don't feel justified buying nice clothes when they look so lousy on me
2. health issues...sore back, joints, high blood sugar
3. Harder pregnancy and delivery. Those of you who are thinking of getting pregnant, PLEASE try to lose as much as you can. I was very lucky to have
a perfectly healthy pregnancy and healthy baby, but my pregnancy and delivery were SO much harder and more uncomfortable than they would have been if i had gotten serious about getting fit!!
4. Feeling invisible...especially when shopping and being out in public
5. Feeling less confident in bedroom

Things I like about me

1. My brain
2. My sense of humor
3. Eyes, hair and hands
4. Ability to help others
5. Creativity

I'm trying to get motivated...this is hard but will be SO worth it!

1. My husband going MOOOO !!!!!
2. No energy.
3. Fat pants.
4. Painful knees and back.
5. No self confidence

1. My husband not saying MOOOOOOO!!!!!!

A great motivational tool

I hate being fat b/c
1. I am wearing a size freaking 14 (the biggest I have ever been)
2. I get winded very easily
3. Have very low self esteem
4. Being compared to other woman
5. My husband calling me a fat ass when we argue
6. No energy
7. Not being able to wear the "cute" clothes
8. "rolls" in places that are unbearable to think about
9. Not feeling good enough to wear sexy stuff for my hubby

The things I hate about being fat

2. I hate looking for clothing in large sizes
3. I don't want to take my little guy swimming but the skinny girl inside does.
4. I've lost the contours of my face in the pudge.
5. I have become so negative towards myself.

Things I loved about being slim, slimmer and slim again.

1. Going anywhere and doing anything.
2. I was very confident.
3. I loved shopping for clothing.
4. I loved swimming and how I looked and felt in a bathing suit.
5. Physical activity was mostly for fun and also to keep fit.
 
1. Not being able to wear cute clothes.
2. Not feeling attractive to my husband.
3. Being the heavier person in the group of THIN people (I hate that).
4. Being photographed and having to remember being heavier.
5. The depression I feel when stepping on the scale!!

:) This is one of the best treads i have read.I have been reading this fourm for awhile and i havnt found the one thing that really help tell now.This is so great i think i felt everthing from sad :( to lmao :D .

Thanks for this.I would list my stuff here to but i could just copy and paste everyone elses who did list theres.I think i am going to save some of these to the back ground of my computer and post them on my fridge.;)
 
Things I hate about being FAT:
1.) Shoping for pants, All the cute ones are low rise and it makes me so mad.
2.) My belly sag. its so nasty I dont know what to do with it.
3.) Not being able to dance like i used to, My body just does not move the same way.
4.) Not feeling prity as much as i used to.
5.) The way i walk, I used to have a cute butt thing going on now its like BLAH

Love being thinner:
1.) I could ware anything
2.) I always knew i looked good
3.) getting looked at alot
4.) Not worring about my tummy showing.
5.) not worring about peopel taking my pic expecaly when Im eating. Hubby shot a pic of me eating B day cake and I almost killed him
 
Things I hate about the extra weight:
1. Being uncomfotable about my body
2. My clothes, really cute clothes, don't fit anymore
3. I don't get as much attention as I used to
4. I get upset wehn I see pictures of myelf

Things I will love when I drop the weight:
1. Fitting into my really cute clothes again

Hmmmm I hate being fat/overweight because
I do less with my kids when the weather is nice
I hate the clothes being huge and ugly
I hate pics and home movies
I hate getting oput of breath and sore joints
I hate all my family members and friends are thinner and beautiful
I hate wearing the worlds biggest moo moo skirt bathing suite

I have accomplished
weighing 255 to 192
wearing a size 22 to a 14
wearing XX lg in shirts to a reg large
I get out and walk now
I am starting to feel somewhat better about myself

I would be happy
I weigh 145
wear that size 8-10
take my kids on a big trip that requires hiking camping swimming rides
wearing a sexy tankini
Finally feeling like I fit in for once
loving to exersice and wanting to do it everyday
 
What I hate about being over weight....

EVERYTHING EVERYONE ELSE HAS ALREADY MENTIONED!!! :D

I'd have to agree and add one more that I don't want my daughters to be overeaters and unhealthy either, so I need to get in shape now while they're still young (3 & 1) and then actually be able to be the example that I'm trying to impress upon them. I want them to eat veggies & fruits, etc..and they do...but if I stay overweight they'll know I don't do the same...that hurts. So yeah - I wanna be hot and I don't like lookin' at my body right now, but I'm workin' on it for a lot of reasons!
 
What I hate about being overweight:

Getting tired quicker.
Weighing more than my husband.
Hating mirrors.
Not being an athlete anymore.
People telling me I have a "pretty face".

What I loved about being thin:

Walking tall with confidence.
Running a 5K.
Free drinks!!
My red slacks that made my butt look great! :)
My husband pawing at me like a teenager. Lol!

What I love about myself:

Good Mom.
Good wife.
Hard worker.
Good stepmom.
Have great willpower, or just very stubborn.
 
5 things I hate about being overweight:
1. Not fitting into the clothes that I really want to wear
2. Not feeling sexy enough in the bedroom for my husband
3. Fat rolls when I sit down!!
4. Not having enough energy for my kids
5. Being the big girl with my friends

5 things I loved about being a healthy weight:
1. Wearing whatever I want to
2. Being the hot wife at my Hot husbands side
3. No more, or not so many fat rolls when sitting down
4. Having energy to play with the kids
5. Being HOT
 
My 2nd baby is almost 4 months now, so I need to get motivated and stick to my weight loss plan!

5 reasons to loose the weight:
1- I am embarassed about how I look to Family or Friends who haven't seen me for a while
2-My thighs are always rubbing!
3-I am tired of that extra fat spilling over my belt
4-My smile isn't as pretty when it is surrounded by fat
5-I want to have energy to out and play with my kids
6- I want my husband to be able to lift me easier
