Closing in on 40

Hi all-
I've decided to join the forum for support and a place to find answers as I go.
I turn 40 in Mid March and my goal is to be in great shape by then. I'm married and have 4 kids, Boy 8, boy 6, girl 5 and boy 1. A few years ago, I was up to 240 at 5' 10" and I got down to 185, basicly low carbing and exercise. I'm back to 200 lbs. and I don't want to go any higher. I need to get back to a fit 185, which is a little different than simply weighing 185. In my younger years I bulked up, but that's not the goal any longer. I want to be fit. I think I'm on the right track. I like the low carb approach, it works for me. Getting around to exercise isn't easy but I have to do it. I usually do things after they are in bed. I play hockey once a week and do yoga once a week. I will try to hit the tread mill in the basement a couple of times in between. I look forward to hearing from you and asking questions pretty soon.

do some reading around the forum you'll get tons of information... and do start a diary -it's a great place to keep track of your successes and challenges and have a little fun too
